UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS IN COMPUTING SCIENCES

Our undergraduate programs provide a thorough foundation in the principles and practices of computing, paving the way for a successful career and/or graduate studies.
Computer science students explore a broad spectrum of computing technologies and concepts.
WHY COMPUTING SCIENCES?
Students have an opportunity to pursue application development and reserach either indpendently or in collaboration with faculty. Areas include social computing, machine learning, native language processing, network science, cyber security and software engineering.
Our Vatican Internship Program, established in 2003, places students within various offices in and around the Vatican to work on application development, compatibility modifications, network modeling, virtual reality projects and more.
For more than 20 years, our department has maintained relationships with several Philadelphia junior high and high schools, providing them refurbished computers and education about computational thinking, coding and computer programming.
