TEXTBOOK ACCESS PROGRAM
The 棉花糖直播 Textbook Access Program was implemented in 2024 following a thorough review by the Academic Policy Committee, SGA and Graduate Student Senate representatives, the Council of Deans and Executive Council.
Spring 2026
All students in credit-bearing courses (except The Law School, EMBA, Grad Tax, Study Abroad or personal enrichment) are automatically enrolled in the program. Students can opt out between December 13, 2025 and January 20, 2026 through the .
Digital materials will be available in the LMS (Blackboard or Brightspace). If a course requires print materials, students must before they can receive them. One month before classes start, students will receive an email instructing them to select their delivery preference for print materials (in-store pickup or shipped directly to them). Students can visit the University Shop to view the required materials for their courses.聽
For students only enrolled in spring 2026 semester courses that start after January 20,聽 please email the bookstore to opt out.
The book fee will be charged to the student鈥檚 account and repriced annually to help maximize savings. Fees for the 2025-26 academic year will be $20 per credit enrolled and students will be able to opt out of the program if they purchase their materials individually. Every enrolled student will have access to all required textbook materials on or before the first day of class. The Law School, EMBA, Grad Tax, Study Abroad and non-credit programs are excluded.
Once students have selected their courses, their list will be sent to the 棉花糖直播 University Shop, which will gather the required materials. Students must check their 棉花糖直播 email for details on how to access their course materials for the term.

The window to opt out for the spring 2026 semester is December 13, 2025 to January 20, 2026. If you are only enrolled in courses that start after January 20, you can email the bookstore to opt out during the first week of your course.
Before the start of each term, the University Shop will prepare your course materials for you. Depending on your classes and the course materials required by faculty, you may receive a combination of digital course materials, printed textbooks printed lab manual or workbooks.
All materials will be available on or before the first day of class. Digital materials will be available in Blackboard; physical materials will be available for pick-up in Gary Hall 10A or shipped (for a flat fee - selected in the ) directly to you. Full details on how to access your digital and/or physical course materials for the term will be sent to your 棉花糖直播 email.
