  • What advice can you offer to prospective law students?
    Give yourself time to adjust. Law school is demanding and challenging, but you will adapt.

    Torts with Professor Brogan
  • What advice can you offer to prospective law students?
    Do not stress too much about deciding exactly which area of law you'd like to practice. Your practice interests very well may change during your time in law school, and you have plenty of time to decide what direction you want to take your career.

    Keep and open mind and do one thing a day that makes you happy! Remember to be kind to yourself and others! You got this!

    Keep an open mind and participate in classes, extracurriculars, and jobs outside of your comfort zone. You might not discover that you have an interest in something until you experience it for yourself!

    Don't be afraid to ask questions and reach out for help. You aren't supposed to know what you're doing, especially as a 1L, and the ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ community is very supportive.

    Embrace the opportunities! It's okay to not know exactly what you want to do. Law school is about learning and doing what interests you. You will find your place!

    To get involved in the health law or employment law sector.

    I am currently enrolled in the Clinic for Asylum, Refugee & Emigrant Services (CARES) and will be externing at the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas next semester!

  • What was your favorite law school class?
    I really enjoyed Civil Procedure, because of Professor Samahon's teaching style and overall, how there are specific steps and rules to follow.

    I worked at a title company and real estate law firm for a year prior to law school!
  • What advice can you offer to prospective law students?
    Know that everyone is going through the same thing that you are, and you aren't alone in this!

    Remember to make time for yourself -- law school is a marathon, not a sprint, and maintaining your passions, making time for friends and family, and allowing yourself to recharge are all incredibly important.
